Heavy Duty winter lights
I made this lighting bar a couple of years ago from a cut-down seatpost rack, a couple of 12V LED trailer lights, a Maplin project box and some other electrical bits and bobs I got off eBay. It runs off 12 rechargeable AA cells regulated down to a steady 12V, and really stands out on those dark winter commutes! The spacing of the lights adds to your apparent width too - you're not just a point of light. The sticker was just a light touch - if it makes a few motorists smile then so much the better!
