Disc brake fail

Disc brake fail

Lost the retaining clip, the locating bolt and the fins from the rear disc brake mech on a gravel section. Made it the 80km home with a piece of packing tape twine found on the side of the road used to locate the pads. Si, I searched high and low for a cable tie (we know how you love them) as my preferred retention method but with cars being so reliable these days service stations are only interested in selling drinks and crisps. Was careful on the descents to not ride the brakes and keep them cool for fear of melting the plastic twine.
