Custom fork mounts for bikepacking

My Trek Checkpoint doesn’t have fork mounts for an Anything Cage. Since I have a carbon fork and didn’t want to clamp anything to it I made a custom set of brackets out of aluminum and nylon spacers to fit into existing rack/fender mounts. A coat of black paint to make the brackets blend in and ta-da! fork-mounted cages for bikepacking. The brackets performed superbly on their first outing.
