Preventive Hand Injury and Ergonomics.

Preventive Hand Injury and Ergonomics.

Goal: Increase surface area the hand can grip that is more ergo, and lessen the impact on hands. There are two parts to this handlebar grip one a Bushing to absorb shock through the Handlebars and the second Padding on a leveled platform that's more Ergo for my hands. Combined the two components are covered with 1 mm scuba neoprene. Total weight both sides 65 g. Keeping a sense of humor, I find that this idea is similar to the opposition to wearing helmets for the first time for cyclist in the peloton. Now everybody wears them for a simple reason protection. Injuries can happen over time and some people take quite a beating of their hands while cycling. This is just one preventive way to lessen the chance of injury.
