MVDP’s race-winning Poggio attack Without moto footage on the Poggio, we’ve missed the detailed head-on footage of a historic race-winning attack. Here, I’ve compiled the best clips I’ve found to try and give a sense for how this race-winning move materialized. A huge chapeau and thank you to @saras_photos09 for sharing (a) some amazing photos of the attack and (b) the best roadside clip I’ve seen of the actual attack. Watch MVDP as he launches on the inside into a narrow gap between Pog and the wall, politely tapping Pog on the back to let him know he is there (reminiscent of his 2018 Elite NL road champ sprint against Ramon Sikeldam where he tapped him on the back as he was coming up on the inside of the barrier) before re-accelerating at full speed, not to be seen again.
