Modified Work Stand Top Tube “Cradle”

I find clamping my—and my wife’s—bikes by the seat post into the work stand to be awkward and sometimes difficult to do with proper balance of the bike. Of course, clamping by the top tube is forbidden. The remedy: I took an unused set of drop bars and wrapped them in an old inner tube. Then, I clamped them in the work stand to create a top tube cradle. The result is an effortless lift of our bikes onto the work stand for easy bike maintenance.
